1. Licensor
The licence is granted by Bartosz Sienkiewicz, the author of the designers and of the shapes, borders and add-ons used to generate the files.
2. Personal licence (free)
You may print, cut and modify the generated files free of charge for your own use and for family and friends, gifts included, as long as you receive no payment of any kind for it.
3. Commercial licence (paid)
A commercial licence is required when a print or a cut piece is part of a paid transaction, in particular when:
- selling prints (Etsy, eBay, Vinted, an online or physical shop, fairs),
- adding toppers, ornaments or trees to cakes, gifts, sets and decorations you sell,
- printing to order and providing 3D printing or laser cutting services,
- using prints as promotional items, prizes or decorations at paid events.
I grant commercial licences individually; a price list is in preparation. If you want to use prints commercially, send an inquiry through the form below. I collect the inquiries and will get back to you when I can offer terms. Until a licence agreement is concluded, commercial use of prints is not permitted.
4. Prohibitions
Whatever the licence, you may not:
- share, publish, sell or otherwise distribute the STL and SVG files, modified or not (model sites such as Printables, Thingiverse or Cults3D, groups, cloud drives, messengers),
- pass the files to other people for them to print or cut.
Sharing the link to the designer is allowed and welcome: anyone can generate their own file.
Downloaded files contain the author’s details, licence information and a download ID.
5. Third-party elements
Fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1), Material Design Icons (Apache License 2.0) and Noto Emoji symbols (SIL Open Font License 1.1) remain under their authors’ licences. This licence does not restrict them.
6. Liability
The files are provided as is, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. The person printing is responsible for the choice of material, the printing method and the use of the print, including food contact (e.g. cake toppers).
7. Supporting the project
A payment through “Buy me a coffee” is voluntary support for the designers and is not the purchase of a commercial licence.
Commercial licence inquiry
Describe what you want to do with the prints and at what scale (e.g. a few pieces a month on Etsy, cake toppers in a bakery). The inquiry is not an order and does not bind either side. I will reply to the email address given, but the response time may vary.
